Gay cam2cam explained

Cam2cam means the performer sees you too. It's the feature people get most excited about and think least carefully about. Here's how it works on our six sites and what to do before you click it.

On Streamen, if your video appears and then disappears within about 15 seconds, the performer missed or declined the request. Their FAQ suggests asking first. If nothing happens at all, check your browser's camera permissions.
Before you turn your camera on
- Frame it. Decide whether your face is in shot. You can't take it back afterwards.
- Clear the background. Mail with your name, photos, a window with a recognizable view, a work badge on the desk.
- Check the room type. On Streamen, Premium chat lets others join and watch. On RoyalCamsGay and CamSoda, regular privates can be watched in Spy mode; Full-private and Exclusive can't. On XLoveGay, choose 100% Xclusive.
- Assume recording is possible. Stripchat openly supports recording of performers' shows when they allow it. Screen recorders exist everywhere. Act accordingly.
- Use a separate browser profile so camera permission isn't left on for every site.
Is it worth it?
For some people it's the whole point. If you're curious, try it with someone you've already chatted with and got a good feel for, in a show type nobody else can join.
