CamSoda Men review

CamSoda is one of the few sites here that publishes what its tokens cost on a page anyone can open. Its men's section lets you watch without signing up, and the help centre spells out what privates usually cost per minute. Along with RoyalCamsGay, it's one of only two token sites we cover that show the full price table without a login.

Who's behind it

The terms don't name a company; they just say "Camsoda". The 2257 statement does: records are held by Secure Live Media, LLC, 225 7th Street, 2nd Floor, Miami Beach, FL 33139. Arbitration under the terms happens in Miami-Dade County, Florida, so everything points to a Florida operation.

CamSoda appears to run its own platform rather than reselling someone else's. Video and images come from its own hosts (media-secure.camsoda.com and media.livemediahost.com), it recruits performers through its own model sign-up, and its token currency is its own. We found none of the hosts used by Stripchat, BongaCams, Streamate or XLoveCam on its pages.

Free without signing up

The men's page FAQ answers this directly: you can watch male cams without an account, go into free chat rooms, and see who's online. A free account needs no card; registration offers Google or an optional email. Private shows need tokens.

Token prices, published

CamSoda's payments help page lists these packages (US prices; the site warns that tax and currency vary by country):

The help pages put a token at "approximately $0.08" in one place and "≈ $0.10" in another; the table above is the firmer number. Cards, PayPal, crypto and several local methods are listed, depending on country.

Private, exclusive and spy

Performers set their own rates. CamSoda's private-shows page gives typical ranges: 6–120 tokens a minute for a private, 12–150 for an exclusive, and 6–90 for spy mode. Here's the catch: in a regular private, other members can watch through spy mode. Only an exclusive takes the performer offline for everyone else. If a performer disconnects early, CamSoda says you're refunded for the unused time. Details in our private shows guide.

Some performers enable recordable privates. That's about recording them, but it's a good prompt to think twice before switching on your own camera; our cam2cam guide covers that.

Things that charge you later

• Easy Re-ups: an opt-in setting that buys tokens automatically when you run low.
• Token Credit: some users can spend up to a daily limit and be charged afterwards.
• Premium membership: a one-month subscription that, per the terms, renews at US$19.95 a month until cancelled, with a one-time 200-token bonus on the first purchase.

Token purchases are final sales under the terms, apart from duplicate, technical or unauthorised charges.

Billing

The footer names Epoch and SegPay as authorised payment processors, and the help page also mentions CCBill for disputes. CamSoda doesn't publish the exact statement wording, so we don't either.

Mobile

CamSoda advertises an "optimal mobile experience" in the browser. We didn't find an app on the pages we read.

Who it suits

Someone who wants to know the price of a token before committing, and who is fine with tokens rather than per-minute card billing. If you'd rather pay straight per minute, Streamen or XLoveGay work that way.
