XLoveGay review

XLoveGay is the gay-focused brand of the XLoveCam network. Instead of tokens it uses a prepaid wallet of credits in real money, and private time is sold by the minute at a price each performer sets.

Part of the XLoveCam network

Yes, it is XLoveCam's. The general user conditions describe one technical platform run by Shoshoro N.V. under several trade names it owns: "XLove, XLovecam, XXXLove, XLovegay". The help centre's record-keeping statement names Shoshoro N.V., Perseusweg 40, Willemstad, Curaçao, as custodian of records, and disputes go to the court in Willemstad under Curaçao law.

Money is handled separately. The e-wallet is provided by AC Webconnecting B.V. in Rotterdam, part of a group held by AC Media Connect BV. The credit page even says your credits work "with any online model on the XLoveCam website", which tells you how shared the back end is.

The site's own fingerprints agree: page assets load from wlresources.com, the model sign-up link goes to performer.xlovecam.com, and the affiliate link points to xlovecash.com. We found no shared hosts or operators with Stripchat, BongaCams, Streamate or CamSoda.

One small oddity: XLoveGay hides company names in its terms by drawing them as images rather than text. They're readable on screen, just not searchable.

What you can do for free

Guests can watch and chat in free rooms, but the help centre says a guest session is cut off after one minute. A free account removes that limit. Performers' photo galleries and promo videos are free to view, and validating your email earns one free VIP video. Free private messages only open up once you've added credit at least once.

Credits and what they cost

You top up a wallet in money and spend it. The credit page showed us prices in Canadian dollars because of where we connected from; expect your own currency. By card, packs ran from CA$25 to CA$300, with free VIP videos thrown in on the larger ones. The page says each card payment is a single payment with no rebilling.

PayPal (through Epoch) costs more: the table showed CA$8 of credit for a CA$10 total, and CA$76 of credit for CA$100. If you can use a card, it's the cheaper route. A digital currency option is listed as well.

Unspent credit can be refunded if you ask within 14 days of your first top-up. Once you've spent any of it, that window closes.

Private and 100% Xclusive

Every performer posts a price per minute next to the button and on their profile, and the site's filter groups rooms from under CA$1 to over CA$4 a minute. Two things to understand before going in:

• Full-minute billing. One second in a private costs a full minute; one minute and a few seconds costs two.
• Private isn't solo. In a standard Private Show other users can join. Choose 100% Xclusive Show, where the performer offers it, to be alone.

Statement and privacy

The credit page says the bank statement reference is neither a sexual or erotic name nor the website's name. It doesn't print the actual wording, so neither do we. Our privacy tips cover what else to check.

Phone

The site works in a mobile browser, and an XLoveGay app is offered by scanning a QR code from the desktop site.

Who it suits

Someone who wants straightforward money-in, minutes-out billing, with the wallet balance as a natural spending ceiling. If you'd rather never pay up front at all, Streamen bills the minutes as you use them. If you prefer tips and tokens, CamSoda Men publishes its token prices openly.
